It is going to be really cold here in Bloomington, IN over the next 2 nights (below freezing). I have a very large old apple tree in my yard that is covered with blooms. Since it only blooms every other year I really want to save this crop. What should I do? Is there anything I can do?
HELP!

YIKES!!!

Julia,
I would try to cover it up as much as possible with old blankets or towels. It might be difficult if it is tall though. I dont think you have a very good chance unfortunately. I had the same thing happen a few years ago to my apple. I had no apples that year.
Good luck,
Darin
