They are nothing more than std. sliding jaws, which can be used in any length pipe. Carpenters have built Americas furniture, and tables with these very clamps.........for decades.What would these tools be used for? They must be > 60 years old.
FWIW, the clamps are threaded at the end of the pipe and screw on/off.
About 4 feet in length.

Perhaps, but I think it may be an irrigation gate.If it was smoother when newer it could be used for a griddle on a fire.
