Tops broke off spruce trees in tornado

I have a couple of spruce trees where the top half of the tree broke off. Beside the ugly view will these survive or do I need to cut them down. The trees are 15 to 20 yrs old and about 12 to 15" diameter.

Very good chance they will survive. I had a customer who had a 100ft Norway spruce snap at 40ft. After cleaning up the break it was 35ft tall and it survived.
