Can anyone help me identify the tree depicted in the attached pictures? The tree exhibits a distinctive diamond-like pattern on its bark with well-defined and flaky ridges. Its slender leaves are arranged alternately on the stem, with approximately 14-20 leaves per stem. The stem of the tree also contains chambers. The soil in the area is sandy and well-drained. Although there are nearby pignut hickories, this tree's leaves are slimmer and more abundant on each stem. Initially, I suspected it to be a black walnut due to these characteristics; however, I have not come across any walnut husks in the vicinity. I would appreciate any insights from the community regarding the possible identification of this tree. Thank you!

Looks like a black walnut tree. It is quite possible the tree is still too young to produce black walnuts. English walnut has a silverish, fairly smooth bark, and black walnut has a mid-dark brown, rough, semi-corrugated bark.
