Newb questions here. I'm looking at getting my first Husqvarna, a 372xp OE. It will be PHO, so I will need a B&C. I was hoping to get a Tsumara light and tough bar, and it looks like they have .050 and .058 gauge bars for that application. I believe the 372xp comes set up to run 3/8 .058 chain?

Most of my saws are Stihls so I have quite a bit of 3/8 .050 chain. My question is can I run the .050 Tsumara bar and .050 chain on the 372xp without modification? If so, can I use my Stihl chain as well? It looks like for a 20" bar on both brands they each have 72 drivers.

Thanks Gentlemen

Yes, as long as the drive link count matches or you’ve got enough adjustment. I believe stihl 20” bar is 72dl, not sure what the Tsumura husky bar is.

3/8th drive sprockets don’t care what gauge, just match the chain gauge to the bar, run a 050 bar and chain if you’d like.
