I need a tuning guide for dummies. I have a strato poulan that im trying to tune and i cant get a good idle. It either dies after the cut or it i sit i down it may idle but as soon as i hit the gas again it dies.whats the correct way to set the low and high on a straro saw. Thank you

Correct way is to change crankshaft seals first....

Could be also rubber pump....carburetor gaskets...fuel filter....porous fuel lines....?

The low speed idle is adjusted like any normal saw, due to the strato design, it is the high speed that gets different. Do a search on "tuning a strato saw". Lots of good info there. If it bogs when coming off idle, it could just be that the low speed screw is just set too lean. If the condition can't be corrected with the L screw, it could be a fault with the main jet check valve sticking open.
