Been having problems with my 672 stump grinder. Oil temp light comes on after a while when using. I’ve had it looked at and checked and no one can find why it’s coming on after it being under load. I do think I have an injector issue but that wouldn’t make the oil temp light come on would it. Maxine ran fine until I changed a fuel filter and fuel line and it’s been dying on me once it gets loaded up. Thanks

check the lift pump to make sure it has enough pressure and volume for the high pressure injection pump..
use a thermal gun to look at the real temp
click here for the test tools page
there are a few flir units close to the bottom of that page.
pretty cool to be able to see the real temps and hot spots!

and there are pressure gauges for diesel on that page.
you might replace the filter again...
corked up already???
maybe the diesel slime?

oh yea maybe a corked up injector filter screen!!
worth taking them out and clean them.

Lift pumps are good...it does have a slight surge when high throttle but no load and smokes. Under load it stops smoking and no surge but after a while temp light comes on really dim. I’ll check out that tool page too. Thanks
