VP Pro Max 97 octane 50:1 gas

I joined topix and posted a local question about availability of non-ethanol gas. We shall see.

This season, even the marinas in my area dont have non-ethanol. Its all ethanol based !!

Boat owners are livid !!!!

Sucks, ethanol is bad in outboard boat motors!!! Worse than in a chain saw!

Most boats @ the marinas are inboards with out drives. - stinks for them too as the rumor is that each season they have to drain their tanks to dry them out from the water buildup, no matter how many water separators they are running

Sounds like they need a floating pickup to keep from sucking wet crud off the bottom of the tank.

No non-ethanol pump gas around here that I know of. You burn corn gas, av gas, race gas, or canned gas. I burn corn gas with stabil.

I burn 87 E0 and the price is 3.77 for that and 3.49 for E10, I don't burn 50:1 as i have old lawnboy 2 stroke mowers so everything is burning 32:1

That Lawnboy oil was the absolute best oil out there (in its time).
I could easily tell who ran it in their motors - they allways looked great when you look through the exhaust port, plus unless the RPMs were kept very low - its the only Dino oil I ever came across that didnt plug the small round holes those Lawnboys had for exhaust ports

Its not just the pickup grabbing gunk - its the tank itself from what I understand

Nor working on helicopters. I wouldn't waste my money on boats anyway. I'd waste my money on other more important things.

Would the VP pro-max 97 or the SEF 94 be better for the saw milling?
