What makita saws were good and why

I'd like to know how to find a home D that's selling off one. Someone posted one on this topic but it was in Virginia Beach V.A..... a bit too far to drive but maybe they will ship it to me huh? If I buy online or something 1st

Heated handles in alabama? Hehehehe. Probably not used too often huh? I've never had a saw with heated handles but would love that for where I live here in W.V..... can it be turned off and on or does it have to be unhooked ect. Ect.

It has a switch. I tried it once and hated it.

I can't understand why many many companies are meeting to electronics other that to look intelligent. But it doesn't seem too intelligent when these electronics start to fail. If I were a company owner or shot caller within a company I would use situations like the 727 max aircraft crashes (that have relied on these type of electronics) to not go that direction.. what it boils down to is that the E.P.A. has too much power through liberal dem overseers and they are pushing this fake (global warming) agenda on the rest of us and putting a lot of pressure on business in this country. Then the stuff these companies are forced to build end up crap and nobody wants to buy from them. Like ford f250 7.3 turbo diesel was inyears.. EPA got a hold of em put pressure on them and they changed everything to a 6.0 which was junk and they haven't been able to build anything good since until the 6.7.... just my opinion

ya done forgot the 116SI and the 120SI a lot like the 64xx/79xx series, way back in the day. my 7900 is 20+ years old. I do not know when it was first introduced. also 7901. then there is the 6400 in orange ( bought new old stock and blue gray version (hd cast off) which could be a 6401. still have my 112 (around 50c+) but sent the 116Si out to another member for parts- for the life of me i could not find a break band assembly for it. Naturally ,about a year plus later a couple showed up. the 3 digit series were slower rpm but more torque just like older Husky's and Stilh's.
The hd cast off had carb problems and had been over heated literally melting the oil pump assembly. Replaced pump assembly, rebuilt carb. At the time you could still get parts from Makita.

I have a EA6100P do you know the DOLMAR equivalent? Im trying to find OEM Parts (Piston/Rings/Top End) lots of parts I’m seeing are discontinued

I was able to get aftermarket Makita parts on eBay, from Germany, with the help of a friend.

Dolmar is a German company, and their saws are more prevalent there.

Early 90 's (1991) Mikita bought out the majority ownership of Dolmar saws .
