Do 'wildfire' black gum trees produce berries? Struggling to find out if this cultivar is primarily male or female. Chose black gum trees for their beauty but also for the berries, was thinking if i bought enough trees surely I'd get a mix of male and female. Didn't think when purchasing that the cultivar is a cloned tree, so I've either planted all female or all male trees... does anyone know if the wildfire black gum cultivar is male or female i.e. produce berries or not?
Thank you for anyone who can help!
