I think it's Live Oak but I could be wrong. I'll look at the leaves when I go back for more.
Looking at the type of bark and the bark thickness I can say it's not white oak or chestnut oak.
So it's probably red or pin oak. Maybe others.
Anyhow if it's oak it is harder to cut than most wood other guys cut cookies from to prove how well there saw is cutting.
Good for you by showing how well you saw cuts in oak.
