Greetings fellow wood wranglers.
I usually hang out in the milling forum and although I've done some chainsaw carving I mainly mill timber although I do a fair bit of wood .and metal work.
In the last 18 months or so I've been supplying timber to a mate of mine who started carving (also 18 months ago) mainly as a retirement pass time.
Though you might like to see some of his stuff.
Number 2 and 3 are the same piece - 3 is the edge on view of 2 - its meant to be a sail or flag moving in the wind

They are all Aussie timbers
1 & 7 are Jarrah
2 & 3 are Silky Oak - its the same piece viewed from different angles
4, 8 & 9 are Spotted Gum
6 & 10 are Red Iron bark.
I'm not sure what 5 is - I did not supply that one.
