Just replaced the alternator on my 2002 Ford Focus. Only took 3.5 hours. Wth were they thinking putting the alternator halfway down the back side of the engine? Every other vehicle I have ever worked on, an alternator is a 30-45 minute job, max. This was a pita

Gott keep those $110/hr service depts. busy.
I just had two side brake lines replaced on my Tacoma. Remove the bed and drop the fuel tank. Lines were $65 each.
Parts and labor - $650.00. I don't have the facilities for this anymore. I'll be getting the exrended insurance on the next one.
