HELLO,
I am new to the board came over from ********** to see if anyone could help me out. I acquired a homelite 180 classic with a 16" bar for free from an old lady. I have used it to cut about a cord of would works great except the auto oiler didn't work. Since then, I have taken the saw apart and I am rebuilding the saw, it is a great little saw to have as a spare. I do not have any literature wanted to know what cc it is what the fuel ratio is anything would help. How old it might be?
Thanks in advanced,
Jeff

Your saw should have an UT# to narrow down which parts list is correct. A local library should have an Intertec Chain Saw service manual that will give some servicing info(5 or 6 pages). It lists the 180 as a 30 cc engine, Champion plug DJ7Y gapped to .025". The recommended oil ratio was 32/1 but the new quality air-cooled engine oils will work at 40 or 50/1.
