    I put a NE piston and cylinder on my OE 346 about 6 months ago. I ordered husky parts not aftermarket, so it was not cheap. It pretty much bolted on. I had to file a very small amount of metal on the outside of the cylinder because the clutch was scraping. Once I did that, no other problems...

    I put a new carb on and it never ran right. I took it to the dealer and I got a call today saying it's a bad piston and cylinder. They quoted me $345 to fix it. Does this sound right? I would spend the money if this is the problem, but that sounds high and not a common problem with this saw...

    I think I might have solved my own problem. I took apart the tank assembly and noticed that the vent is missing. Is the vent just a little round plug that fits into that hole? Just need to get the part and pop it in, right?

    My 372 leaks a substantial amount when I fill it up. It looks like it's coming from the tank vent at the upper right side of the tank. Is this common and how do you replace the vent? It seems kind of hard to get to. It also will stop if I crack open the cap again after fill-up. I would...
