For the last two years I've been carrying a BlizeTec. Nothing fancy cost about $35 It's a little bulky in the pocket but I've grown used to it and feel naked without it. It has a mini light with magnet base, a fire starter, seat belt cutter and window breaker...and I've learned the seat belt...
Hell, I've hauled almost my entire season of wood this year in the back of my forester (2002 w/ 231,000 miles)....Got a nice place to get bucket loads of nice dry standing dead all around 5-10 inches diameter. The ol' girl can take a decent load of 4 foot logs. Interior weight capacity 900 lbs.
Hell just post the ad the way you want it. If no one responds no skin off your back. I ran a wood splitting for hire ad a few years ago for the hell of it and got a ton of calls.
I like working With wood, if a reasonable deal came up and the guy (you) seemed like a straight shooter I'd spend...
Is that the Endeavor? Friends of mine had one in their house about 9 years back. Nice stove- room to pack a decent amount of wood, nice flat top for cooking if in a pinch.
You are correct Brian, although truth be told there was a bit of sarcasm mixed in with the request. I don't really care one way or the other about documenting BK stoves performance.
I want to see a Blaze King post documented like this guy did.
Not saying they wont burn for 40 hrs. but wtf give the guy a break plenty of info pics & vids -everything we want.
Nuclear energy may seem like it is clean. There is however an enormous amount of radioactive waste produced that although we don't see it, is being buried somewhere for someone someday to deal with.
Did my 361 muffler with a mig. 035 flux core. After Burning thru I had a 1/4 inch hole, I ended up fitting a small piece of heavier gauge sheet metal over the hole and spot welded till sealed.
I've had my TWP-1 bought new for about 9 years. I don't know if they're built the same now.
Aside from fuel, oil and air/ hydro filters / gen. maint. I've added 1 carb, and an inline filter. That's it. Wedge on the beam, Honda GX160 engine.
I split anywhere from 15-25 cord a year. Much of...
Me I like smaller...ish. My figuring is if it's good and seasoned it's gonna burn fine and long if we keep an eye on it. If the splits are big they better be fully seasoned. Nothing worse than dropping a fatty on the coals and NOT getting that good hot burn. JMHO. Smaller ish and a few lunkers...
I don't know how old this thread is but I'm chiming in. My 2 cents: you get much more production and less back ache with a hydro splitter if you:
don't let the ram fully retract every time, have log cradles on the beam, use good sized rounds (flat side up)on both sides of the beam like a table...
