Got my cert treeworker #449 in '92 and quit my city job and free-lanced for the next 9 years. Made alot of money and got near burn't out. I realized I was basically a piece of equiptment or tool and I needed to think of my future. So I got my Arborist cert and an Operations manager job with a company that cares. Never looked back.

maybe a basic question, but I'm thinking of doing contract climbing. Worked at the same company for 6 years, learned tonnes of stuff. I climb everyday, removals, prunes, felling, and a lot of crane work. But Ive been thinking that I would like to meet more Arborists and learn techniques from them. The company I'm at now is a nice cushion job but Id like to be doing more technical rigging. So how do I land some other companies to hire me? and what would I charge with all my own climbing gear?
Thanks guys
