Chainsaw mill set up

Hello im about to get my 24'' panther pro mill to slab some 20' pine logs and I was wondering if I could take a 24' extension ladder and take the two pieces apart and level them out would this work I have never taken a ladder apart any suggestions Thanks

I dont know if its in this forum or not...but you can always use a string-line and some lags to get things level, then the ladder goes on top.
