Glad to do it, I'm gonna be building a few in the near future anyways, and the material doesn't cost me anything.... If a few hours of labor helps a brother out I'm glad to do it, what goes around comes around.

If for instance I wanted a copy of an early good running 046 D jug is that possible or is this something else completely?

so is this the type thing where a non-decomp- early 066 jug can be made to mount on an MS440?

This is something that allows you to build compression without lowering the jug, or thinning the base. It is normally done with long studs and nuts on top. There is also the opportunity to design a better combustion chamber.
