is he from he il area?? one guy I called,,that had worked on gypos 999, said his eyesight was so bad,,he couldn't do them anymore.

I haven't been around much recently, didn't know that Jacob J. was MIA. It's my understanding that he builds/built saws for himself and only for very close friends, i.e, not a commercial operation.
I thought JJ "built" but did not "port".
JJ is a world class builder.
