How long has fried chicken and a waffle been a thing? When and Where did it start? And how come y'all didn't tell us Yankees abooot it?

Gotta need some good gravy, or syrups or sauces on it I'm sure? Darn I'm hungry now

Yep , saw a photo of it prepared like that, cream gravy makes me drool.

But when did the waffles creep into the equation. Maybe IHOP got so many requests, .. I dunno?
