Same with mine. Or when I drag her out there to show here my latest accomplishment, even though I know she couldn't care less. She'll often oblige me:)

My girlfriend thinks that my hobby is a joke an hopes that my addiction will soon fizzle out, but I don't see that happening. She says that I spend more time with my saws than I do with her.

I know how that feels. She just nods her head and says "wow" a lot. She finally told me to shut up about the 2188 already. :)

Stipes, you got a good one. Just don't let her touch the 2186 or you may never get it back.

Nice pics - she sure looks happy with that saw!

I am finishing up an early 90s Husqvarna 51 for my wife and will be teaching her how to use it. There is even a bonus in it for me since my chaps are a bit short - I can give her mine and buy some longer ones for myself. :D

    You trained her up right.

BTW it appears she is wearing wildland firefighting pants. True?

My wife hasn't shown much interest in cutting with the saws yet. She was going to go out last weekend and help load the truck with some deadwood. But that kinda fell through.

Someday I'll set her up out back and have her make some cookies with the 420. I think once she runs it and understands how everything works, she'll come out if I ask.

It doesn't get any better than that.

My wife is too skeered to run a saw. I think she likes my saws though because I have heard her tell people how good they are. She does help me split and load sometimes.
