Makita EA5000P & Dolmar PS-5105. Exact same saw?

Does anyone know if these saws have any differences from the factory besides the badging? So far the only thing I've noticed is that the Makitas are shipping with 20" bars and the dolmars with 18"s. Other than that they read exactly the same.

One is blue(ish) and the other red!

They are the same saw, Dolmar makes Makita 2-stroke chainsaws.
Bar and chain setups are market and/or marketing dependent and are rather a matter of personal preference.

Yeah... like the Hitachi/Tanaka saws. Hitachi aquired Tanaka and now there's only two differences between them... the color and the price tag. You pay slightly more for the green color, a little less for the orange.

Similar with Husqvarna/Jonsered, Mc Culloch/Poulan, etc. all the same inside a little different on the outside.
