MCCULLOCH SP81

I recently acquired a Mcculloch SP81. I have a few questions on the carb it appears to be an SDC 51. It only has one adjustment screw on the top left corner of the carb body, I'm guessing is for high speed adjustment? The saw does have the idle speed adjustment screw that is adjustable on the outside of the saw.

I found an SDC 65 carb on ebay that appears to be fully adjustable that says it came off of a 10-10. Do you guys think this carb would work ok on the SP81?

The venturi's are the same at 19.05 mm.

You have nothing to lose trying it. It should fit up. Not sure if the throttle and choke rods will though.

it will..may not enjoy not being able to adjust from the side got one on mine have to plug the hole up on the side to keep dirt and saw dust out
