Nice looking 2300. Not sure whats wrong with it. Looks like there is a few knicks on the piston, but I'm no expert about that. It could be I just don't know how to tune it right since you have to take the top cover off to adjust, it changes a lot when you put it back on. There is a new fuel line, filter, base gasket, and I think a new ring too (can't remember its been a while). I thought I had it tuned right a week or so ago and made probably 10 strong cuts in a chunk of maple then it stopped cutting again, tried tuning today and made a cut before it died again and I gave up. Figure it's worth $60+shipping. The 14" bar and chain comes too. Probably less than 10 tanks on the b/c combo. Oregon pro 91 set. You can have the scabbard too.

This saw oils a lot. I've been told the oiler is pressure driven so when you take off the oil cap and release the pressure it oils less. I put a tiny piece of a plastic covering half the oil hole to conserve oil. Easily removable. If you take the cap all the way off and on before storing the saw it doesn't leak oil to my knowledge.

Thanks but got one! Great tree climbin' saw!

Right on, it is a really strong cutting saw when working right

$50+shipping. 13lbs fedex drop off from 47885

I think so too. I'm just not going to try to fix it. That bar and chain was like $32 alone, has the red letters rubbed off but the laminate is unscratched.
