I just sold a little more than half a cord of green oak, @8"x16" for $50. I told the guy I was clearing and acre of oak forest for pasture and he said he would take 20 cord of 8 ft logs at $80 a cord. It will all be 12" or less as I am keeping the rest for lumber, @3000 bdft. I will then sell the tops at $100 a cord green and stove length. Unsplit. Are these prices reasonable? I will only have to move the logs about 150ft and I have a tractor and a Lewis winch for that. He will pick them up with his trailer.
