People around here don't know much about Husqvarnas but when they hear the name Stihl that's all they need to hear. Stihls sell around here strictly by reputation.

Around here you can buy an MS170 and then turn around and sell it on CL for a profit.

Prices on used Stihls are silly around here.

I own both. If I was keeping it stock, I'd take a Stihl. But for me it's always a Husqvarna. A ported Husky is always stronger for me.

Meh, when comparing the resale is pretty close on both. Stihl moves a little faster. It all really depends on what it is priced at, like anything.
