I have a couple of questions:

1. Do they use synthetic 2-stroke oil?
2. What is the ratio of the blend?
3. Stihl or Oregon chain?
3. Semi-Chisel or Chisel chain?
4. Husqvarna or Stilhl motor?
5. Where is their Personal Protective Equipment?
6. Inboard or outboard clutch?
7. How was their technique?
8. Did that have the E-Tech pipes?
and finally
9. Will that pull a 96" bar in hardwood?

If its only 300hp why not make one out of a 2.0L 16v turbo?

If that was a serious question, I'll try for a serious answer.
Because when you hit the throttle on a race saw, you want max power NOW, not after the cut is finished. A crank driven supercharger might work, an exhaust driven turbine will not.

Modern variable vane turbos dont have much lag!
That big heavy V8 has a lot of internals to spin up.
300 hp could be done with a fairly small turbo.
British touring car racing is done with 2.0L non turbo engines limited to 300hp and i bet they rev higher than that V8:)
