I had a 924xl that was hard to sell at $82.00.And it ran good also. People other than us on AS seem to not want any too old. I e-mailed the guy that bought it after couple of weeks and he said it cut like a dream for him. I put most if not all my saws on CL.

I'm a fan of the big old titan saws. Thats why once a week I will go through the trading post to see if they are still there. Like the P100. Yeah.

that's crazy. an xl 12 went throught the bay last week for $426.

It was big and heavy but I think it is also 82cc. I got it for $5.00 at a yard sale so it was worth it to me. If the price is right go for it. I would have kept it but I needed to the funds for another saw. Some one just did a rebuild on one on AS not to long ago.

The only way you will know is by sticking it on eBay..its worth whatever someone is willing to pay...its a collectors saw. No real value to a person making a living with a saw.

That Homelite XL12 was an Original Blue Model in Primo shape. Shiney blue paint! Brought $426. Probably a bit high though.
Most XL12's sell for less than a $100--if it runs!
Xl900's are the same -- nice big saws.
But what's the condition? Most are average or less than...
$82.00 is normal -- unless it's outstanding.
Saw a real nice one go for $60.00 last week on ebay -- better than most!
The SELLER"S AD makes a TON of difference also. It can double the price easily.
