MS880 Large mount questoin ?

On friday this week i am going to pick up my new 880 and a GB 50'' bar.I have been thinking (bit of a worry) i have a 36'' bar whick i use on my 660,if i open out the bar stud slot and use bar spacers i can use it on both saws.Now the questoin is 1 are the chain adjustment holes and bar oil holes the same for both mounts.2 i have measured the bar studs on the 660 whick are dia 11.95 mm the bar slot is 12.20 mm, I am asuming the large mount studs and slot have same clearances eg dia 13.95mm and 14.20 mm ?.

The 880 chain adjustment holes are bigger so the 660 bar will need drilling.

Mine are 13.85 and 14.25 mm

Rather than uses spacers on the 660 bar bolts so it can take the big bar I turned up new bar bolts.

I havent got a mill,picking up 880 on friday be using it for cross cutting and felling for awhile but are interested in getting a mill one day.
