If youre cutting big hard wood the 880 is a blast to run, but in smaller stuff the 660 will go just as fast (wont pull as hard) and will save on your back.

This is the only place I've ever seen 660 and "smaller stuff" used in the same sentence. But it nicely sums up the "bigger is better" nature of this whole thread.

3120, 088, 084

If I had to choose between the three it would definately be the 3120. You can run it for hours and it won't beat your hands up.

Have you thought about adding a rearview mirror to the saw?

Good idea but I'm running out of room on the wrap handle

Face facts not to many of us NEED a 880 (unless milling) but that is not the point,we know a 660 and 36'' bar will cut 90% of wood. But once you have used a 880 there is no going back its just super fun, spend the money you wont regret it.:clap:

I think I might be ending up w/ an 084 in July...Another member is going to visit his mother in Chicago and might just be bringing one of his by...:givebeer:

hey its your money lol. I have never run an 880 or a 3120xp husky, BUT, i have run a 660 magnum and a 395xp and to me the husky is a lot nicer on the hands with vibration, the 660 is lighter, the husky feels like it is stronger, the stihl is prettier, haha it goes on and on. If i had a lump of cash laying around it would be what ever my heart desired. I'm a husky man through and through so it would be a husky 3120xp lol. :chainsawguy::hmm3grin2orange:

Well here is pretty much what I ended up w/...Three new to me saws and a LTA50 four wheeler for the boys...

Somehow all of those saws look vaguely familiar:cheers: My daughter would be jealous of your boys new toy.

I wouldn't know why?....

This place is honestly one of the coolest place I have ever hung out...For a guy just to stop by on his way to visit his mom to meet another member and make sure the saw that he is selling is what it is supposed to be is great...I really don't think you could find a better group of people than here on AS...

Wow, definatley have a nice group of saws there. The orange one is the best, lol. Can't believe yall tried talkin him out of a 880. I think everybody might have been jealous, or just sick. The boys should enjoy the atv.
