Stopped by Northern Tools, Richmond, Va. to get their chain sharpener (normally $120, on sale for $90). They had a $220 (marked in store price) Efco 3600 (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200343004_2003430043600) marked down to $99.49 (that the salesperson said they had done because they were discontinuing them) which because it was under $100 was further discounted 50%.
So - a saw for 5 sawbucks.
I looked at it as a "toy saw", but then for $50, new, w/ chain, warranty, etc. it looks like a good "loaner" saw.
So check your local Northern Tools.
Now if I only could have gotten a new Solo 681 for $200 I'd be REAL happy.
