10T! I thought it looked bigger than a 9, but I didn't think you would go higher than that.

The color is from DuPont. Alesta powder Coatings color name is RAL 2004 .
The color match the plastic good on this old 064 , but it seem like that Stihl has used some different color on other saws.

To day i have welded the pipe together, i have test fitted it on the saw but not run it yet. I will take it to work to morrow to grind down some of the welds on it .

Thanks Jacob , It was wherry nice of you to buy those parts for me, and send them to Norway , i just have to wait for the parts get through the customs at the airport, and out in the Norwegian post system.

To day i have run my Orange saw first start up , not with the 084 carburettor , but just a little start up before Christmas. We even got snow for Christmas this year.

Do anybody have the diameter in both ends of the intake manifold on the Stihl 084 .or the size of the flange on the 084 cylinder.

I got the coil and the carburettor from Jacob J, to day i hope to start the fabricating on the carb housing to morrow. has anybody put an 084 carburettor on the 064 or 066/660 saw before ,cant seem to find any thread on it.

Intake flange on cylinder is 34.05mm (outside),carb is 26.85mm

There are members who have put the 084 carburetor on 064/066/660 saws before but I don't think info was posted about it. I can measure the 084 intake boot if you like. I can get one of those and send it if you need one.

I think the linkages for the 084 carburetor will be tricky on the 064. You may have to make a custom wire frame throttle control.
