thanks bill,
I have a couple of AS members hunting some parts for me and am hitting yard sales and the like in my local area looking for another one these little power houses.
I would really love to get this thing going it is a 77cc saw and weighs about the same as my 55 cc husky (and it is new)

I might be able to get my hand on a xl921 and xl925 for cheap. I was wandering if anyone new about part interchange on the xl saw
will 921 925 p&c fit the 901?

Hopefully one of the Homelite gurus will be along and give you some insight as to what will interchange with that saw.
I've seen quite a few P&C's on fleabay pretty cheap.

When you get her runnin' let me know and I'll dig up a bar for it.

yeah I saw a few on there last night that weren't to bad I just don't want to turn my project into a money pit

Just don't get in a hurry.

Soon as I get a log out here for cookies I'll give a hollar.

I have a few to get ready for the meet in Halifax co.

Mainly the 1130G and that little Yaller' one:)

I gotta go to that I want to see big red in a log. I try not to hurry but I get excited easily I haven't even been able to sleep much cause I can't stop looking up stuff for the saw LOL

oh yeah that disc has alot of info.
some of the manuals are hard to read but not to bad
you have alot of info gathered on there . I have been trying to share as you asked but I don't think some people know what a pdf is I think I will just have to say I'll email it to you instead of I'll email you a pdf

I found a p&c but it expensive I don't know if I want to invest that much in saw that nees so much more...... I am going to keep looking for some parts saws or some used parts I can't afford do drop alot of money into anything right now. there will be yardsale a plenty in the valley in the next month or so I might have to start prowling the sales. Don't ussually do that as the junk is always so much more plentiful than the good finds, but then I have never had a project saw sitting on the bench before.....:greenchainsaw:
