Maybe a little bit of CAD still holding on after last week's purchases of the 440 and CS370, but I ran across an add for a MS 250 in good shape except for a leaking gas tank vent. Asking price is $100.. Go or no go?
Snag it.
Got one that has had the living crap beat out of it.
You couldn't buy it for 100 bucks, it's still got more than that left in it.
Ain't the fastest, not the best handling, air filters cost an arm and a leg, it's got the damn flippy caps to boot.
But it gets the job done every time and dosn't mind getting abused.
For 100 bucks, snag it, and run it to death.
Stay safe!

There are some people that bash them...........Most that own them have gotten there moneys worth out of them long before there scrap.....
.
Sure they last a while - but they are not nice to work with, or on......:greenchainsaw:
Only hard to work on if you dont work on saws........

They start, run, and cut almost as fast as a 260, and weigh about the same.
Never had to replace anything but a pull rope, and a couple spurs/bearings.
lol!!
I don't want to dig into it either...no need to.
For a 100 dollar knockabout saw, there are a LOT worse options out there.
Stay safe!

Doesn't it have a fixed carb. Meaning there is no adjustment for the high side? I would not buy a saw. There is no need to spend more money on a new carb thats adjustable. When the saw should have had one in the first place!
Just my .02!
