I hope somebody brings some saws...I'm down to just 3 right now, well, 3 that are runners!;)

Really wish I could make this one fly, but not looking good for the home team...Wife has the Realy for Life, my parents are going to be in TN and the MIL just had hip replacement surgery...

The only person that thought it would be a good idea was my boss...He has been trying to get us out of here to see some customers and I have several between here and there...

So, what are you gonna run the BIG saws in???

Funny you ask, The mill has a 5' DBH poplar and an even bigger oak that they need noodled in two. They are about 10' long, they said they would pack them down with the skidder if we wanted to split em...

Wish I could come. I'd probably get the long-distance award. I was talking on the phone the other day with Jeremy and told him there was so much planned that it was gonna need to be a 2-day GTG, with tents, campfires, and all that goes with them for the overnight.

I'm just aching to get the Tree Sling'r milled/ported 660 with 32-inch Sugi into hardwood much bigger than we have around here, and I bet some of that there hickry would do the trick.

Drink a few, saw a few and swear a few for me down there, guys. :chainsaw:

You can send that saw down, and I'll be sure to introduce it to some hardwood. :) Heck, it's only like a 15 hour drive, come on down.

I made some saw bucks today. Whatcha guys think?

First one was made on the cheap. I took two scrap pallets I had, removed the lathing from one end of each and screwed it together. Actually turned out kinda nice, and plenty strong.

The second one is a hoss daddy. Solid oak and cherry rough cut, cut out and cross braced and carriage bolted together. It would hold a dozer up.
