Just venting here. Sorry guys.

I had a "friend" come over today that comes over every now and then. He was here for awhile just talking and things like that.

Well, I was using my 660 today at work and had it in the back of the truck. I had forgot to bring it in. Well, after he left, about 10 minutes later I was going to run out to the store and noticed it was gone!!:censored:

I remembered seeing it when I came in the house and I could'nt grab it because I was carrying food for me and the woman. I live off the road so I pretty much knew no one had seen it from the road and grabbed it.

Much as I hated to think it, I knew pretty much that he had to have got it!

I figured there was'nt no time before he could hide it, knowing I might find out. I went to his house and his mom said he had just left and told mw where he was headed. I did'nt act mad, just asked her if she seen the saw I let him borrow. She said no. So here I go to the place she sid he went, which was another aqquaintence's house.

This is the messed up part:

I get thee and there he is in the driveway, saw in the other guys hand. He looked like he saw a ghost when I came squealin in. I tried not to, but I could'nt help but hit him right in the chin. He fell down but was'nt knocked out or anything. I fought back kicking the crud out of him and said to the other guy, "I'll be taking that saw with me bro". He says, 200 bucks and you can take it!!!:censored:

My so called buddy had sold my saw to this guy. Now as I said above, I knew this guy well too. I sais, "well you better get your money back from him because this saw IS going with me! When he realized I was about to drill him too, he handed it over and started cussing my so called bud that stole it. I told him next time I seen him he was going to get another hit to the mouth from me. I said a few otherr choice words to both of them and left. I should have called the law I guess, but I needed satisfaction right then and there.

Can y'all believe that crap!? I hate to wonder what if I had'nt decided to go to the store right then. My 660 would have been gone and even though I would have thought it was him, I could'nt have proven it. I really never did fully believe that he took it till I seen it.

I want you guys to imagine the feeling I had when I seen my saw with them. Did I do the right thing? I think so.

I tell you one thing. I hav'ent been that ticked in a long time.

Sorry again for the rant!

I say GOOD FOR YOU...

right or wrong, I am sure you feel better, but at the same time disappointed that some "friend" would do such a thing.

Yea, I've even heard the guy talk about hating theives!

I never thought he would steal from me, but after this, I've noticed other things missing. Lie my 1970 stag handle case xx pocket knive, worth a couple hundred bux! I had my knife box out for a few weeks near my computer and he has been on my computer. Get home today and notice that knife was gone. Only one gone. And I have showed them to him, telling him the value of them, that oneknife being the most valuable of all I have, and my favorite!!!:censored:

It's almost had to have been him. Almost feels surreal, him being a good darn friend of mine. And I have helped this guy out alot!

Sounds like you should use better judgement on who you befriend. Glad you got your saw back.

I know what you mean! This guy has been a friend since 6th grade though!!!

Are there any such thing as friends these days? :bang: I'm the "don't trust anyone" type also. Never would have thought this! Out of the people I'm aquainted to, I consider like 3 people true friends, well 2 now.

Excellent rant!

Glad ya got the Saw back!

You realize of course the rant COULD be used against ya right.;)

If he's enough of a Jackass to steal a buddies saw, he's also likely to play the victim to get even for the embarrassment ya handed him.
Lowlife trash is lowlife trash.

Stay safe!

Only friends I trust fully, are my Shetland Sheepdogs.... been burned too many times and its a damn shame really.

I can't blame you for how you handled this situation. I would be pissed if a "friend" stole something of mine, let alone an ever-precious chainsaw! I would have paid to see the dude's face who was holding the saw when you dropped your buddy!!:buttkick:

Yea, I know that type too. Glad he does'nt use this forum, or even have a computer. To beat it all, he does'nt even saw! Maybe a few timmes in his life that I know of. He has a husky his rich aunt bought him, and a 110 stihl weedeater, both of which I'm debating on stealing! :D

Nah, JK. Me, not the thieving type. But revenge is just that!

Lol, great thing was, I was trash talkin the other guy as I was jogging toward them. He even started to duck as I got witin hitting distance. I had my eye on the other guy the whole time, just to throw my "bud" off. He never seen it coming, hate to say. But there was no stopping it after the scene I seen when I got there.

I was almost blacked out mad, ya know.

That saw is the worst thing that someone could steal from me! My baby.

Even as I sit here now though, I'm kinda heartbroken.
