As far as I know, tax is only paid on parts not labor.....yet anyways...
Uh, I think he was asking about whether he pays taxes on the income from his side job.

OP-
Where is your local Stihl dealer located? I checked with mine in Mount Pleasant a few weeks ago and they told me the distributor had enough 260's in stock to keep the 261's away until January. I told him there was already a guy in Ohio with one torn down on his workbench being modded and he looked at me like I had two heads.
I could say something really mean on the 261 from what i been reading, but ill just say good for you
Are you with big brother?
It's a fair question though. I already pay for enough people without having to subsidize people who deal under the table. I disagree with the Constitutionality of the federal income tax, but since it is there give caesar what's his as Christ commanded.
Interestingly 47% of households paid no fed inc tax last year. Draw your own conclusions from that........
I was just wondering Brad, do you pay taxes on all this work you do for all these people?
Ok, let's here the bad on the 261, I had one in me hands today and it was far from " unbalanced" so let's here the bad news! " from a husky poulan guy"
I have made my decision and it will be a snellerized 261 for me for Christmas, Family is going to get me the saw and I am going to send it right over to Brad to get worked over! Are you ready for another saw Brad? Hope so!
Yep. Nuthin' like an $850 50cc saw. Congratulations on such a wise (and obviously well thought out) decision.:yourock:

I hear Brad makes so much money working on saws he wipes his butt with gold plated TP.
Call em like I see em.
Again, this has no place here. Not sure what you are trying to prove.
I havent personally ran one. Id love to though. But why mod it, when Brad did his tests it gained some but not alot compared to the 346xp. Its expensive and it doesnt like the porting as much as some of the other saws that the OP could of picked. And probably saved some cash, or his parents could.
I just sit back and read and gain knowledge of what to buy and what not to buy. Along with what to do and what not to do.
Ok, First it is not my parents, it is my wife/kids that are going to get it for me and for why the 261 over the 346. Biggest reason is close dealer for parts/service and second because it has been throned the "new King" and third "CAUSE I WANT ONE!
Now why have it modded......cause i never have had one ........cause i have the money........cause it sounds cool..........and the biggest cause.........CAUSE I HAVE CAD!
I am not a brand hog but i do support my local dealer.....otherwise Brad would be getting me the saw! I have been on this site for a couple years now and have always looked up to blsnelling's knowledge and he is pretty close for shipping and what he does with my already "Taxed money" is none of my business! You guys are starting to act like OBAMA himself!

Since this is kinda' a free ad for brads services, I was just checkin' to see if Mr. Snelling is the kind of buisness man I would want to do business with.
