i was thinking the same thing, when i was goin over it, im not sure how accurate the site is but other then that it seems pretty dead on, but i just dont see how 7hp can be acheived w/ 53 cc

I'm going to say 18 to 20. I have a 20 on my 031 and it runs it fine.

haha, im really not sure i just copied it across. :hmm3grin2orange:

i knew olypyks had power but dang! see thats why i love them, haha 50 cc and 7hp id like to see that beat haha

i kinda wonder if it would do bigger then 20"

my small saw echo-cs400 is only 40cc and i have an 18" bar on that and it cuts like a machine, our stihl 025 has an 18" bar on it as well so idk but i figured id get the input of guys that do this all the time.

That is SAE horse power not the horse power rating that most saws use. If you look on CCC at some of the old dolmars they were listed in SAE HP.

ok thanks, so basically every one says around 18-20" bar on it then,

its a bit smaller then i want haha, i knew it was but i figured if i could do atleast a 24" bar id be ok,

our big saw now is a 272F which is 67cc and we do a 28" bar and it eats like its nothing!

I need to find a clutch nut for my 480a Super and see how it cuts. Just have not gotten around to it yet. Clutch cover has an ugly repair on it also. Anyone know a good parts source for Oly's?

if it was mine id prolly go 18-20 for sure. one thing that might be overlooked is even if it will run a 24, itd be horribly overbalanced. never thought too much about balance till we put a 24 on my grandpa's 036 pro so he wouldnt have to bend over so much and man u talk about annoying! tip heavy as all get out and i aint even gonna use that thing again till i get a 20 on it.
