Congrats Brad, That's a great lookin' pile of saws and trimmers. I used a FS66 for a lotta years, it was a great little trimmer (Got a FS250 now...it kinda spoils ya for almost anything else) :D

Have Fun...when ya can...it looks like ya got plenty of work to do...

atvguns asked:
"How do you do a search like that?"

On the eBay page, and to the right of the green "Search" button, you'll see a link that says "Advanced."

(You'll have to be logged into your eBay account for this to work, btw)

Put your search string into the field labeled "Enter keywords or item number" AND make sure the "Completed listings" checkbox is checked.

After the results are shown, you can then have them sorted high-to-low, low-to-high, etc. to get a rough idea of how much an item is selling for. You'll get a bunch of irrelevant results (as you would probably expect), but when you order the results from high-to-low (and if your searching on a particular model of saw), the high ones will be almost exclusively complete working saws, followed by parts saws, followed by miscellaneous parts, pieces and even some girl's underwear (which usually happens when I search for "Husqvarna") hahahaha

thanks for the reply I will try it and you know I have to try it with huqvarna :hmm3grin2orange:

Brad, you are one lucky son of a gun. I'll trade you the free pooplan I got the other day for the ms180. The pooplan has compression and it just needs a carb kit. Its a crapsman in disguise, so if you are interested??????? ps if any one starts giving you a hard time please just ignore them and don't stoop to there level.

Nice find, I like projects like that. I wish they still made the fs85. Tough and reliable trimmers. That echo 265 if you can fix it, make real good trimmers. I'm sure that 028 will see life again.

How do u guys get all these saws? I cant find anything out here!:bulgy-eyes:

Some at flea markets, yard and estate sales, auctions, small engine repair shops.
I usually just ask if they have any chainsaws that aren't running that are for sale. You annoy some of the small engine people by asking, but not all.

Thanks everyone. I made good progress today. All the trimmers are running. But both FS85s need carbs. Same with both MS180 saws. Funny thing is, they all have the same model Zama carb. I had to replace the one on my Dad's saw a while back too. Even a trip through the ultrasonic cleaner did them no good.

FS85 - Runs, bad carb, new fuel line
FS85 - Runs, bad carb
FS66 - Runs good, kill switch not working, selling
FS90 - Runs great, exhaust screen was totally blocked, new fuel lines, repaired plug wire end, selling
SRM-265T - Pulled caps and tuned carb, runs great, going back to shop
GT-1100 - Tuned, runs great, needs fuel cap seal, going back to shop
FS55 - Runs great, missing air filter cover, going back to shop
FS46 - Runs good, missing muffler, I think it's in the shop, going back to shop

MS180 - Bad carb, runs
MS180 - Scored piston, bad carb, probably sell as is
028WB - Scored piston, excellent cosmetically, will be repaired
Echo 440 - Scored piston, excellent cosmetically, probably sell as is

If that 028 has the interrupter style chain brake, could you please post up some pics of it? I have seen it on the IPL, but never had one in the shop.
Not familiar with that. I'll check it out.

If you need anything for fs66 let me know. Ive got some stuff for those old trimmers and many parts are NLA
Thanks. The FS66 runs great.

Nice haul. I have had a few just like that. Still have parts for a bunch of trimmers if you need something.

You can donate that 180 to me if you want. I believe I have a good slug and jug laying around. haha
Thanks Andrew.

Nice. Why would that 180 not be worth messing with? I like playing with saws too, send it to me?
I'll either fix it or sell it complete as is.

I told my wife if she ever see's a sunglassed fellow from Ohio on that A@E channel she watches to let me know, I wanna see your whole collection!!LOL!

Come on down:)

What model Poulan?

I don't know what they'll want to do with the FS85s. They said they didn't want to put much in them, so may opt to not buy carbs. If not, I'll probably get them and will fix them both. The 265 runs great after tuning and will go back to the dealer.

Brad, now that Stihl owns Zama and there prices have come down those fs85's might be worth new carbs, fs85's still fetch good money.

I'd love to put fully adjustable carbs on them. I'm having trouble finding info on both the FS66 and FS90AVE. What size are they and what might they be worth?

Adjustable carbs would be the ticket, as for the 66 and 90ave im thinking early 90's thats a guess and not sure on size....there old so value isn't as high as the 85's. The 90ave is a tank lol. Sorry i can't be of more help.

I usually cheat & use glyphosphate/roundup spray to keep the weeds down
where the ZTR mower won't reach them.
It pays to think ahead, my mower needs a tire fixed & tiller needs a carburetor kit,
& have overhanging limbs that need work with the pole saw before spring sets in.

sorry, it is glyphosate not glyphosphate

Brad, the poulan is a cheapo home owner special. It says on the recoil 2.0 33cc 14 inch bar, but on the tag near the rear handle it says 36cc model # 358 351440. It is kinda weird because there is a hand guard that looks like a chain brake but its not, just for looks. I swapped the carb from my husky 50 onto this saw for "testing" and she ran so Im thinking carb kit. I still interested PM me. I love me those stihls and huskys!

These old trimmers are hard to find info on as well as parts! The fs 66 is 28cc, the fs90 is 31cc . Be sure to specify old model fs90 when looking for parts. The new fs90 is in no way interchangable!!! Value is low on the trimmers due to age probably 25 to 40 bucks in good running shape. Too bad, they well built old machines!!

Nice find! Toss the FS55 and the FS46 they are JUNK! Keep the rest

I have to disagree! While not in the class of the FS80 or 85 they are serviceable models. Just run good gas and keep the mufflers clean. Also watch when replacing coils there 3 different ones and they time differently!!!

I assume all of these pieces are trade in's or old rental or some jazz? Then trading work for different items? Just curious you dont have to answer if you dont want to.
