I had one of those ZIPS that was mint. It was a display piece at an old Homelite dealer in my area. I bought it at an Auction when the oldtimer died a few years back. I sold it on Ebay and can kick myself. Its hanging in a sky lodge somewhere in Colorado now.

What part of The Burg are you from?

David Bradley

It is good to see there are others out there collecting and running the oldies, rep sent.

Roanoker, I consider you an expert on chainsaws, and I've got this what I believe to be a David Bradley. Model number is 917.60051. I got this as partial payment on a cleanup job on Irene and for a CAD like me, it's a great find even though it doesn't run. Can you ID it for me? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bob P.S. I hope the pic comes through

Triumph,(named for bike, car or band?)

Excellent start to the wonderful and often hilarious world of "old school saw" collecting. Hang here long enough and it becomes an obsession--------better than anything Calvin Kline came up with :msp_biggrin:

Rep sent, for the Old School.........from the ol' school

By this time next year this Triumph dude will be making deals on CL for the same two-mans as I'm trying to score. Oh Well, it HAS to happen as all of us know. Welcome to the site and thanks for the vids.
