This is the 365 that Wigglesworth donated to be built for Stumpy. Tlandrum2002 donated a 372 top end. Jacob J sent a gasket set and I figured Jon and I could stick it together.

I have my own way of doing a 372XP.....some might call it a minimalistic approach. :D

We split the cases because the crankcase had a worn big end bearing. We installed a new set of main bearings and a very nice low hour crankshaft Wiggs sent with the saw.

This saw didn't need much cleaning. It was owned by blsnelling at one time and we all know how clean he makes everything.

We run all the small parts through the ultrasonic cleaner. It sure makes it nice when you start reassembly for everything to be well cleaned.

Mounted in the little lathe and ready to cut. :)

I cut .035 from the base then milled .030 from the bottom of the cylinder edges because it makes contact with the case before the cylinder flange bottoms out.

I also cut a few thousandths from the squish band to flatten it.

The piston has had .030 removed for a popup.

.024 squish....

I'm gonna try to do very little to the lowers and no windows in the piston. short intake duration with long exhaust and transfer timing.

You'll have to let us know how it runs.

that cylinder and piston was mine. i got the cylinder from jj and the fins were indeed broke when i sent it

Not much I know, but i have a new in package fuel line I can send. (I dont have squat for husky parts)

Thanks my friend, but the fuel line is in great shape. You should hang onto that for another saw. :msp_thumbup:

That broken fin looks familiar.......You say that was Brads?
