Which Klotz oil works the best in saws? Too many to choose from on the website.

I run the (KL-200 and KL-205) Original Techniplate, some people like the Benol (BC-175) also, I have not ran the R-50 (KL-104). I think those are the best to choose from.

Esso

I believe that Esso has the Mobil line in Canada. Look up an Esso Oil Dealer in the yellow pages and they should be able to tell you were to get it.

I won't knock Klotz one bit... made some very good money running it this past two years.... Plenty more than I did with some other good race oils.

Chris, are you saying Klotz increased the amount of money(ie more wins) you made over other oils? If so, I think your full of it.
How much Klotz have you ran? I have used well over 20 gallons(probaly closer to 40) in several differant machines.

Chris- don't be a tool, you made more money because you are becoming a better operator. Also, you have gotten better equipment over the last two years. I don't think that the kind of oil you are using makes a difference in a 3 second race. You may have gotten better protection from the klotz oil, but speed, I don't think so. Now, do these statements come because this company sponsors you? I'm calling shenanigans on this one. :dizzy:

Andy you are right, getting a good Marcel saw from Ed was probably the biggest factor....no money but....I did picked up a few thing during a tour of the facility.

Back on the subject of MX2T for a moment, I think it is now Racing 2T with the coloring. This is an uneducated opinion, based on the fact that I haven't seen MX2T for awhile, but have found some Racing 2T.

I bought my MX2T in Niagara Falls N.Y., but you can have it for commercial cutting. It's gooey and it sticks to everything with no proven advantage over Stihl or Husky mix. The ratio is much more important than the brand. JMHO

Esso dealers

Thanks a lot guys,
I'll drop by my Esso gas station this week. I found some Amsoil 2 stroke oil at the Auto parts dealer but the stuff is expensive. Amsoil recommends 100:1 ratio but I mixed mine at 50:1, The blue smoke is gone but the stuff isn't cheap. I want to compare it to the The Mobil 2 stroke oil.
