I have 8 new bottles of Mobil 1 MX2T dated June 2003.
Does 2 stroke oil deteriorate / go bad ?
Would it be crazy to use this 20 year old oil in my Husky 550xp mk 2 ?

I used my Racing 2T until I finally ran out maybe a year ago. No issues.

I've still got 10 quarts of MX2T and it's all I use.

I mix at 40/1.

I'm still using Mobil 1 2T Racing oil from 2008...no problems so far at 40-to-1...

It's probably bad...you can send it to me and I will dispose of it for you.
In all seriousness I woukd use it without reservation.
If anyone has any they want to sell I woukd buy it.

bought a crap load a great prices when it was discontinued. have used it continuously in my dirt bikes since and still have this much left. well, a few less bottles than when I took this picture. wish they still made it.

As far as I know they still make it just don't market in the US

I'm not sure the stuff sold over seas is the same stuff.

Most oils have a shelf life, unopened and correctly stored for 5 years.
