They can get the seals too.

Anybody got a good number for the seals? Thanks for the bearing number Tim!

I need for MS290, 310 or 390
-Nice air filter cover
-Both flippy caps

Needed for a 036 Pro
-Flat-top cover with decomp ( I have a nice MS360 cover to trade)
-Flat top airfilter cover
-Air filter

I have 026/260 parts and some other Stihl parts and greenbacks to trade.

Thanks!

9639 010 1743, or 9639 003 1743 for the seals.

I have a new curved top filter cover for a 290-390 saw.

I don't know, but that auction is over. I'm fixing this saw for a neighbor who made the mistake of taking it to the local NAPA store for a sprocket. The oiler gear was stripped when he got it back. I know Bailey's has the conversion kit, but I was hoping to find one on here.

Ahh yes, the old favor for the neighbor trick. Very well versed at that one myself. Almost always turns into a huge can of worms. Good luck.

If Jason does not fix you up on the 290 filter lid, let me know. I think all my spare flippys are broken (go figure....) THe OEM seals are 17mm x 30mm x 4.4mm. I have NEVER seen 4.4mm thickness seals available in the aftermarket. You can squeeze ones a little thicker in there, but 7mm is going to be WAY to big. The seals are about $15+ EACH from you dealer, so try aftermarket ones if you can find them. I have not tried THESE yet, but may on the next order. There are two different seals from Stihl, and one is used in a complete engine. I have never tried them, though I bought them accidentally a few times. I always went back to the correct ones, so I still have the wierd ones here.

Yes, I know the auction is over. But it happens that I'm the winner and I'm holding the drum in my hand right now. I bought it for another saw but wound up not needing it.

I have used these seals. I have not had a problem at all with them. I have them on 4-5 290's and 5-6 MS250's. Yes they are thicker but all saws have passed leak tests and have a dozen of tanks through them.

Bought a 350 Husky cover on Ebay...

guy charged $10 to ship it (wouldn't offer actual, or accept a bit more for packing..) shows up with a tag for $3.70 from USPS

take the cover out, band is busted, cover is broke in two places, and cracked as well...

Now he wants me to return it, BUT did not offer returns?

THEN threatens "this better be my cover, as mine was in good shape, and the band was not broken!!!!"

I feel my trash isn't much different than Florida trash?? ;)

sometimes I HATE ebay....

SO, anyone have a decent clutch/brake cover for a 340-359?? I have parts to trade if so.
