how do you pull seals withut a puller

one day I may buy one but not really profitable at the moment. So how do you replace the seals without a puller?? Do you have to tear the saw completely down???

If it is just going to be tossed, tap a screw into it and pull it out.

yep just replacing both sides to stop an air leak

Just use a socket to gently tap the new seal in place.

It is always best to "knock it loose" with a punch first. They come out alot easier if they're cocked to one side a little. Then you can run a screw into it, and pull out as illustrated.

Hook set works for me on the Husky seals, not much success with the screw cause the side is mostly rubber.
I use the 90 and the Hook
