I think My ms-250 would be a Glock 26,It's tiny compact and light but still gets the job done. On the other hand I think My MS 460 would be more like a 1911... a time tested classic you can always depend on, with plenty of options for upgrades.

660 would be a 416 Barrett. 345 would be a 9mm of some sort, not as simple as a Kahr, but not overly complex or spendy either. Of course with a 14" bar the 660 would be a hand cannon like my 454 casull and it would probably kick-back about the same too.

My 346 would be a .243 . lightweight and fast , with unparalleled versatility for almost any game on this continent .
The Super 754 would be a .45/70 . Old , slow and BIG .
272/371 would have to be a .300 Win Mag .

So if a 660 with a 14in bar is a 454 casull, what would a 290 with a 20in B&C be??? I'm thinking 9mm Hi-Point or a Slingshot:hmm3grin2orange:

I like that analogy a lot. 16" for small stuff, yet plenty capable for medium sized stuff with a 20". I use a .243 as well.
The .243 is very under-estimated. I had a BSA Majestic with a Redfield scope that would drive a 100 gr Nosler through 3/8 steel plate at 100 yards. (I still hid behing the truck though lol)

Id say my 038s is a 30:06 lever action. It is under rated, by no means high tech, high speed or low drag but very stout and not often mentioned in the same breath as flavor of the week saws or guns

044 "Christine" = Winchester Model 94, 30-.30
Time tested

346XP = Ruger MKII MK77 w/ Leupold 3x9, 6mm Remington
Small but fast......really fast

6mm is pretty much a .243 on steroids.
Same .243 projectile sitting in a larger casing

MS261=7mm.Rem.magnum

I would draw a parallel between the MS261(muff mod) & my 7mm.Rem.magnum which has been accurate enough for crows at well beyond 300yds. & powerful enough for Canada & Alaska-Yukon moose at the same range. Another good comparison would my MS201 & .222Rem. which has accounted for several red foxes as well as woodchucks, crows, & 'coons at ranges up to 250yds.
