What a silly question. Anyone knows you need a saw for maple, a different saw for walnut a different saw for pine and a different bar and sprocket if it's fir. Now for the 100 varieties of oak, it will take several combinations of saws, bars and full comp and skip chain to meet those needs. That hickory is pretty hard so better put that short bar on the 90cc saw to tear through that. Oh wait, the 90cc is on the mill so use the old mac to deal with the hickory, and so on and so forth. If the bark is a different texture or color, a different color saw is required. So don't ask silly questions Mr. Rabbit.
