I am in need of some parts for a 024aveq. I need

The white plastic pieces that go around tne bar mount. I need all of them in that area. The saw side and the cover side.

I also need the bar plates and any hardware to hold them.

I also need bar tightning piece.

I also need a 16/18 .325 bar an chain non safety.

I would be willing to trade for a parts saw if it has what I need.

I have a ms390 parts saw and lots of other brands.

I also have green paper with pictures of dead men on them.

Thanks
Jason

FYI, you do not use the plastic guides AND the bar plates on an 024. It is one or the other. Lemme go dig through the 026 bucket and see if I have the adjuster. How complete is the 390 parts saw? The chain guides are probably on that one.

I think he needs the front tensioner, not the side one. I have a new front one he can have along with a .325" bar and chain. I have extra brake covers too.

Just to show the difference.

A CS-750 with a stock cover.

Here it is with a CS602 cover on it.

Thanks for those pics, Mark. Definitely displays how the smaller covers can actually work...to the extent they provide the sprocket coverage and the mounting/spacing requirement for a coupla nuts to hold a bar in place....which is all that is necessary in this particular application anyway.

And thanks to everyone else for their input on this, too. PM coming your way for your damaged one, Andrew. If it'll hold a bar in place, it'll serve the immediate purpose. Thanks, man.

The *60 cover J.J. suggested looks similar enough to maybe fit the bill also. Noticed it available myself before getting too far into this, but kept leaning toward the original part or a 602/702 substitute. Anyone tried the *60 cover? Hell, almost worth 20 bux to see if it'll work and provide yet another alternative to what seems to be an allusive solution. And the one on eBay looked like a *02 cover or maybe even the *60 one. It wasn't an 80EV/CS750, but I appreciate the tip and the link from Jeremiah on that one, too.

Thanks again, everyone.

The 390 has some good parts but none of the ones I need. Thanks for the info though. My local Stihl network is crap so I haven't owned many. Just one now and then and they usely are not worth fixing . So they get swaped off for parts I need.

JJ you know all I believe. Yes the front one. This is a older saw but has very little use. Thanks for your help.

Stihl 011 muffler cover

Just the muffler cover needed, can make a screen if i have to.
got junk and stuff and whatever ?

I got a 019 or 191 that used up a ring and quit running. It had carbon behind the ring so it didnt have enough compression to run. May just need a rering and it would be back to running.
And I listed some ol mag in the other swap meet..

Does anyone here have an old Yamaha Blaster piston I can get some measurements off of? A blown up one would be fine and I don't need to keep it- I just need to know the wrist pin diameter, wrist pin length, pin-to-crown height, and skirt length. Thanks!

stihl scrench

Im looking for a plethora of stihl brand screnches with the flat head screw driver not the torx. I need the stihl brand for the diameter. Id like to fit one for all my saws. If you have one or a few id be obliged to trade some moldy green paper.

Mac men

I could use a good Mac 610 clutch drum and bearing. I'm fixing up a saw and I just sold the Mac pile I had with a good drum. Lots of other macs fit.
