You have a completely unacceptable 40cc gap. At a bare minimum, you need a 372/441, and ideally a 362/562, 372/441 and 7900:msp_thumbsup:

You beat me to it!

So..... What he said! ^^^^^ now let's see the pics. You can't tell me you haven't taken at least a dozen photos already :msp_thumbsup:

You guys (well, some of you) crack me up.

As far as pics go, I'm the kind of guy that goes thru life for the most part, w/o a camera in his hand, documenting things that don't need documenting.

I don't even like my picture being taken. My wife hates it that I think we can go places without a camera being present. Taking pics is more of a female thing to be sure.

And, in regards to the "camp", it was more lke a day spa than anything else. :yoyo:

Oops.....should I have said that? :taped:

This thread is dead. Dano will start another thread tomorrow, asking about making the new saw easier to start and why it is such a POS. Then he will say that he has been around stihl equipment(or rebadged ryobi's) for ever and it wont start. claiming it Must be tuned wrong. Then he will wont to know what mixing oil he should use for this saw, that will be started in the garage twice a year.

But its all GOOD becouse:yoyo:

DANO has been here since 2001

You really think that I'd go for more than an hour or so with a new saw, without starting it up in my garage?

I'd have thought you'd know me better than that by now.

And yes, silly boy, time does matter. ;)

an attention whore??

Not an attention whore, but someone that stands up and says what he believes in. I don't kiss any MOD ass and treat them like they're something special. For the most part, they're simply misguided, inept souls, looking to yield a little power over those on a forum that really doesn't matter in the first place.

When you defend yourself from those, it does take a certain amount of face time on a forum to make it all clear.

And of course, there's those like yourself, that peer around from behind a MOD, or worse yet, lying in wait to take a cheap shot, and then dive back down into your hole.

And then, there's the kind that are both. That really sucks.

So that pic didn't look at all familiar to you? Like maybe you've seen it somewhere previously? Sheesh...

You know what I read right here on Arboristsite?

Aw come on, lighten up, grab a beer and sit down by the fire. :D

It's all in good fun.

It's truly inspiring to see how someone who's been registered on AS TWICE as long as I have can still manage to contribute SO much to the board. Bravo!

If anyone has Dano's ph #, please give him a call and let him know he's at camp again.

I just can't understand Dan. He could get along if he chose to do so, but he seems bent on self-destruction.

Well, if people had taken this thread at face value as a typical "I got a new saw" thread, sent him rep and just asked for pics, we'd be back talking about oil ratios now. I think he started the thread in an attempt to play well with others. Did he have a string of silly threads recently, sure. 80% of my posts are just to hear myself type, and add nothing to the site. If I was a new noobie instead of a "seasoned" noobie, and I saw this, I'd be scared to ask "my saw is hard to start" questions. Does Dano bring a bunch of it upon himself, absolutely. What would he have to do to post something without being teased? Thick skin is needed, but if every time I posted something 20 guys piled on in a not super friendly way, I'd quit posting (don't get any ideas!). Is redemption possible on ArboristSite?

I agree with most of this, but Dano pokes the lion in the very first line of this thread. I have picked at him in several threads, but always in jest and have never gone beyond making fun of his garage follies. But for some reason Dano is dead-set on getting banned and it seems he got his wish. It is unfortunate for this to happen to someone who was one of the earliest members, though that in itself doesn't give a person any special latitude in acceptable behavior. Taking anything said on this board personally almost always ends up badly. You are better to laugh along with everyone or ignore it. When you make fun of yourself, you take away the ammo of the attacker. Dano also needs to learn not to take on the mods, at least openly. They have a job, and in general it is done in an equitable fashion. Calling them out publicly, rightly or wrongly, will only end badly for one of the parties.
